Midfielder Ivo and football businessman César Soler visited the activities of the Macau unit of the Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy on Sunday (26), during training held at the Roosevelt Hotel field, in Taipa. Welcomed by manager William Gomes, the three Academy founders met in person for the first time. Ivo10 was founded on May 1, 2020 after many remote conversations, mainly due to the severe Covid-19 pandemic.

Founder and president of Ivo10 Brazil, and now also executive manager of the Teutônia unit, in Rio Grande do Sul, Brazil, midfielder Ivo is back in China after an entire season without playing in the country. After helping Henan Songshan Longmen to remain in the China Super League, in 2021, he returned to Brazil on vacation and remained in Rio Grande do Sul for the entire 2022 season, awaiting the complete extinction of Covid-19 in Asia.

With the Chinese market again open to international transactions from January 2023, Ivo and football businessman César Soler traveled to China in mid-March to negotiate the return of the Asian football idol to the pitch, whether in the first or second division. The proposals are still being studied.

During the negotiation phase with clubs and coaches, Ivo and César Soler traveled to Macau for the long-awaited meeting. The number 10 made his second visit to the project, since he was with William Gomes early on, when he was still playing for Henan. The football businessman from São Paulo was at the Macau unit for the first time.

The Brazilian visitors were also with the young Chinese defender Jeff Chio, who recently also traveled from Brazil to China. He is the first exchange student in the history of the Academy, when he traveled from Macau to Rio Grande do Sul in November 2022 and stayed until the beginning of March. During his period of experience in Brazilian fields, he won two titles, assuming the position on the main U-15 team right in his first training sessions at the Ivo10 Brazil Training Center, in Teutônia (RS). Before returning to Asia, he went through a week of training with the U-17 team from Mirassol-SP, the best structured São Paulo team in the countryside of the State.

The executive manager and co-founder of the project, William Gomes, who also doubles as administrator, coach of normal class, elite and also of the Ivo Chiba partnership in the 2023 Macau League – 2nd Division, accompanied the visitors during the training sessions held for both children and adolescents from 3 to 16 years old, as well as professionals working in the League. And he also presented one by one the entire technical staff of the unit, formed by professionals of the highest competence.
