Manager of Ivo10 Brazil celebrates period of “exchange of experiences and knowledge” on a 40-day trip to Brazill

Executive manager William Gomes is back in the daily life of the Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy, in Macau, after a period of knowledge, visits, learning and exchange of experiences in Brazil. On a trip of just over 40 days, he visited the structure of the Teutônia (RS) unit of Ivo10 Brazil and participated in the daily activities of the Academy, including games valid for local competitions. One of the founders of the project, Gomes was for the first time at the Ivo10 Brazil Training Center since the foundation of Ivo10, on May 1, 2020, in Macau, and May 10, 2021, in Brazil.

“I have no words to explain what I experienced these days in Brazil. Talks about starting the project had been going on for some time, but the start was, unfortunately, during the difficult years of the Covid pandemic. We managed to make the project evolve as planned, but the visits were complicated due to the difficulties of international travel during this period. Thank God, everything worked out for the best and in 2023, not only Ivo and César Soler (from CSR Sports) got to know our unit in Macau, but I had the opportunity to see everything up close in Teutônia (RS). It was wonderful”, said William Gomes, remembering the visit of the Academy's founders to Macau, in March of this year.

“We have the same work methodology, the same concern in not only training soccer players, but also exemplary citizens. But we have a different day to day, with different moments. And for me it was great to get to know all the work that takes place in Brazil, living with the professionals there over the course of four valuable days. Of course, we always chatted by video by the internet, but nothing like the experience of seeing and witnessing everything up close”, revealed the executive manager and founder.

In addition to the period of exchanging knowledge and experience in Teutônia (RS), William Gomes also had the opportunity to meet with businessman César Soler at the CSR Sports and Ivo10 Brazil office located in the city of São Paulo, the commercial heart of Brazil. The visits took place both on his arrival, in July, and on the eve of his departure, in August. On the occasion, in addition to constructive meetings, another chance to see up close the work carried out by the professionals of the company specialized in managing the careers of football athletes.

“I talk practically every day with César Soler and the other professionals at CSR Sports, but getting to know them live and seeing how they work was very important for me. These are experiences that I was able to share with them and the learning that I had in São Paulo, there in the office, was very constructive. Very remarkable moments ”, he summarized.

At the CSR Sports office, manager and founder William Gomes was able to meet some of the athletes managed by CSR Sports, including some that were revealed at the Teutônia (RS) unit of Ivo10 Brazil. In addition, a meeting with youtuber Diego Freestyle, creator of digital content with thousands of followers on his social networks and the possibility of future collaboration both in Macau and in Brazil. “The office is in the financial heart of Brazil, close to everything. César Soler's agenda is full of important visits, with people from all levels of football. All the meetings were very productive”, concluded the executive manager.

Back in Macau, William Gomes is now focusing on the activities planned for the second half of 2023, such as the fourth edition of the Ivo Soccer Camp and the start of the Macau League’s youth competitions. And, of course, on the agenda is a new return to Brazil to continue with the exchange of information and experiences.
