Striker André is the second athlete from the Macau unit of the Ivo10 Brazil Football Academy to travel to Brazil in search of differentiated training with professionals from Ivo10 in Teutônia, in the state of Rio Grande do Sul. One of the highlights of the project under the command of executive manager William Gomes, the young Chinese with Portuguese citizenship travels to Brazil in search of the best performance and to enrich his preparation to one day become a high-level player competing in the best competitions in the world. Between November 2022 and February 2023, Chinese defender Jeff Chio followed the same exchange path, becoming the first Ivo10 Brazil athlete to experience preparation on the other side of the world.

André's arrival in Brazil coincided with William Gomes' first visit to the country since the beginning of Ivo10 Brazil's activities in Macau, on May 1, 2020. Still a striker in Asia, at Ching Fung-MACAU and playing in the Macau League 2023, the executive manager arrives for a period of exchange of references between the units, a fact that happens for the first time in person.

The young exchange student, who has a Portuguese passport, accompanied by William Gomes and his family, landed at the international airport of São Paulo (SP) on Thursday afternoon (13). Then he went on a trip to the south, while the manager stayed for a few days in the state of São Paulo. André arrived in Porto Alegre (RS) early on Friday (14th), welcomed by Ivo10 football coordinator Ferdinando Leda and by Luís André Ferreira Moraes, responsible for accommodation at Ivo10 Brazil.

Before Friday afternoon training (14th), André was received by coach Rodrigo Domingos, secretary Carina Hernandez and the entire U-17 squad and coaching staff for a special welcome afternoon coffee. The Chinese-Portuguese native got to know the entire structure of the Ivo10 Brazil Training Center and has already completed his first training session.

Before traveling to Brazil, the Macau unit of Ivo10 Brazil organized a farewell meeting for the exchange student and also for other young players who are leaving South China to pursue their studies in other countries. The event featured snacks, video games and a lot of emotion, with the presence of many players and all members of the Academy's coaching staff. In addition to André, the boys Marius, Ruca and Salvador also leave the Macau unit.

The expected stay of the exchange student André in Brazil is one year, which can be more or less depending on the athlete's adaptation in Teutônia (RS) city. Within the project of his coming across the oceans is to become a professional being revealed in the country, one of the main ideas since the emergence of the Academy.
